2oz tins have their place in the cellar, but I prefer to age larger quantities. There is something to having a larger mass aging together. To that end, The Standard Tobacco Company of Pennsylvania has been playing around with the idea of larger tins. Much larger.
Here's Simon and I at the New York Pipe Show, where we unveiled the prototype for a 100 pound tin:

It's still all under development and kind of hush-hush right now, but we figure that it might be popular for stuffing pillows and turkeys and so on....

Damn, could you imagine opening a tin like that? You'd need a coin the size of a vinyl record.
Yes, we realized that after we had vacuum sealed the sucker. We are now investigating the use of explosive bolts.

Your seven day set of vintage Rolls have roofs strong enough to support two tins each: Problem solved. (Use Persian carpets to prevent scratching the bottom of the tins)!
