I just opened this tin of Sam’s Flake that I picked up today. I has a good deal of age on it, something I was excited about. But I don’t have experience with really aged tobacco. The white on there- should I be concerned, or is that normal?

If it looks fuzzy, then no good.

same thing everyone else has said except that looks fuzzy to my eye. Though it's a good sign shows that there aren't additional preservatives in the tobacco. Or in other words a good reason to jar. Not that it will totally prevent this but at least you can watch it in real time.
Smoke it lad - it will put fuzz on your chest!
If it looks fuzzy, or hairy, or if there's an unpleasant smell, toss it. Some tobacco molds are highly toxic. You only get one set of lungs.
If it looks crystalline, you're OK. Those crystals are mineral deposits that have migrated to the surface of the tobacco over time.

That looks great to me. If it's crystalline as it appears in the photos it can be a sign of very well aged tobacco.

It looks fine to me from enlarging the photo. How does it smell? If it were bad it would likely put off a bad odor. Assuming you have smoked this blend before and know what it should smell like. But it looks like normal age.
That looks like sugar to me. Peak tobacco. I say smoke it.
