Aged Mac Baren Plumcake

Good evening gentlemen,
Three days ago I’ve opened a vintage tin of Mac Baren Plumcake, the tins is very old from the 80s or 90s, the tobacco is still moist and in perfect aged condition, my question is should I let the tobacco rest in a mason jar before I smoke it, and how long should I let it rest in the jar?

Were it mine I would a enjoy a bowl immediately, then put the remainder in a jar.

I have a tin that I opened in December of 2005, and it has aged beautifully! I hope that yours smokes as well as mine does.

Already had 30 years of rest but I'd finish the tin as the age will cause it to diminish quickly.

Smoke it and enjoy it! Should be great now. I really enjoyed that blend in the late 80's.
