I just got some old as flake and navy cut tobacco. the navy cut as mold through it :(

But the flake is in good nick. just gave it a moisten with distilled water and letting it come back into case. had to try it though and it was....smokeable bit bummed about the navy cut but its all good got abit of NZ history

as they are pretty old at least sixties or so.

hmm no bad smell so maybe its crystals. the flake reminds me of the tobacco i used to smell my great aunt smoking, its quite earthy as for the navy cut it smells well like nothing really was very dry but knowing me i will have a bowl.

It's probably crystals then. Often the key signature of a well-aged blend. Happy puffing and congrats on that score!

jolly good for me its pretty cool as this was one of the few NZ tobacco companies. they shut down ages ago so was quite stoked to see it at auction.
