My appologies, Zeke. I meant Fire Dance by Samuel Gawaith. I was picturing my tin of Moontrance when I wrote that post.
I know that Smokingpipes.com carries Fire Dance, and I believe that Cup 'O Joes carries it as well. It's delicious. ::

My favorite aro is Moontrance by CAO, it is absolutely fantastic. It has no bite and full flavor, tastes fruity to me even though it's flavored with vanilla bourbon. The Middle Earth Series by Just For Him is also quite good.

Some don't consider Peterson University Flake to be an aromatic but it is to me and I smoke it quite often. The plum flavor is not too sweet but it is definitely there and the burley and virginia's are matched quite well. I usually smoke it after dinner when I am having a sweet tooth episode. I tried getting into other aromatics last summer, but found they dried my mouth something fierce so I gave them up.
lordofthepiperings, I tried the CAO Cherrybomb and found it to have a seriously nasty metallic taste.

Agree, I happen to try this out recently and ended up buying 1/2 pound. Agree with BCA and Moontrance as being very good. Can never go wrong with 1Q though BCW is heavily cased. It is what it is.

Hello, everybody! Joined sometime back and just have not taken the time to join in. Love the site! Have learned so much, and it is great to hear from folks who have not run from the fray. Political correctness has killed more folks by far than pipe smoke ever will :0) Really appreciate all the new leads on some new aromatic blends!

What brand and flavors do you guys prefer?
What tobacco would you suggest to other members?
What is your fall back tobacco?

- I prefer Balkan and Latakia blends like Frog Morton On the Town, Blue Mountain, PS Balkan Supreme, SG Skiff Mixture etc.

- For an aromatic smoker I would suggest Hobbits Weed or Trout Stream. For an English smoker I would suggest SPC Mississippi River or SPC Plum Pudding.

- My fall back tobacco is my own creation which I refer to as Metalhead Blend II. Its a mix of Lane Burley Light, Lane MV-1000 (Virgina) and Altadis Empire (mild English). It makes for a nice mild blend that's good for anytime of the day.
