+1 jvnshr about not exchanging near the bazaars. I’m not sure but I think the airport may have fair exchange rates. Maybe jvnshr can help in this matter on where to get a better exchange rate.

jayski, there are 2-3 exchange points at the airport, they will exchange your money based on live exchange rate however they will charge you with a commission.

Thanks for the advice .. I will be prepared with some Turkish lira. I fly directly to antalya, so I must be on the lookout for a fair exchange there.

For those that say that the meerschaum pipes with the screw in tenon, and/or the plastic mortise/tenon; are poor smokers and not worth owning need to keep in mind that everyone is different and has different preferences.
I have a couple meerschaum pipes with screw in tenon's and they smoke absolutely fine, and one of them is one of my best meerschaum pipes. I have a couple with the plastic mortise/tenon and I have absolutely no problem with the draw. I have some really nice and really expensive meerschaum pipes made by some master carvers, and some by some unknown carvers that are lesser quality, and I don't have issues with any of my meerschaum pipes. It all comes down to preference of the individual.

I have been to Antalya twice. I would be really careful, the stuff they sell in Antalya is for the tourists, mostly poor quality and overpriced. You will see lots of shops selling leather coats, Russians buy those a lot.
