ADVICE: MacQueen Ranger or Similiar Looking Alternative [First Pipe]

Go to the trade section, someone's been trying to sell a ranger from macqueen for like a month. I think his screen name is tokerpipes?

Actually, just looked it up, the man's name is tokerpipes, his thread is http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/topic/fs-macqueen-ranger and he is selling the ranger for 55 I think, he's a real nice guy shoot him a PM.
btw, church wardens are my favorite type of pipe, wish my first was a warden, and macqueen is a top notch company, only complaint is the LONG wait time if ordering directly from them.

I saw him But he will not accept Paypal, only cash or cashiers check, etc.

That's weird, well I can vouch for him if you don't trust him enough to send a check. He was very active and gave me great advice when I first started smoking back in April. Also I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but Missouri meerschaum has a bag if secound pipes, 10 for 30 dollars, and you can buy a forever stem for I think 25. That should give you 10 church wardens if you don't mind sharing the stem! XD if you want me to find the exact web addresses of mentioned sites I will.
Btw don't discount the bag of cobs, I bought them and besides a few minor cosmetic flaws there all very great smokers!

I'm really trying to lean away from cob pipes... see, I'm from Mississippi, and (while I'm sure they are great beginner pipes) they have a bit of an image around here... And while I know you smoke for yourself, not for the benefit of others, it has a bit of an image in me, deeply ingrained since childhood.
Anyway, it's not a matter of not trusting the guy with cash or check. It's simply a matter of ease of transaction. My girlfriend is buying my first pipe for me, so having to go to her bank (which the closest one is over an hour away) and pulling money out, mailing the money off, waiting 3-4 days for him to get the money, etc. Just a lot of hassle.
