BB, as she was known, was a French icon; de Gaulle thought her more important than Renault. I have to agree.

That's a shame. I posted a picture of her recently in the pictures thread. There'll never be another Brigitte.
Not only was she a talented actress and singer but she also didn't seem to care what people thought of her. There was also the fact that she was one of the most beautiful women to ever walk the planet.

I remember as a kid, going to see the Saturday matinee and watching "Dear Bridgette" starring herself and Jimmy Stewart (and I don't remember anybody else, except the kid-character sending the letters in the story).

It's rare to find such broad consensus on how attractive a person is. The beach photo reminds me this very mean girl I knew from Paris, she was very fun though and entertaining to talk with.
