I bought this antique Benjamin Franklin meerschaum on eBay. Sadly, it is broken into about 7 pieces, bit I bought it because it was only a buck and it's freaking Benjamin Franklin.

I would like to glue it and use it as a display piece. What's the best adhesive for Meerschaum? As it is missing a few slivers and could never be smoke again, it doesn't matter if the adhesive is chemical based.

It's a rather large pipe, a real shame it's shattered.

Nice pipe for display. I would clean it up the best you can, and any CA glue would do. Since it’s not going to be smoked I’d still be cautious with the amount of glue to be used. Avoid any kind of run off on the outside. A thicker glue I’d recommend is the gorilla CA. After the glue you could add a little beeswax on the outside to bring up the color. Nice project for winter months.

Egg white - you can fill in small gaps with a mixture of meerschaum dust and egg white (the old recipe calls for eggwhite and chalk, but that was when chalk was mined and not synthetic)
