I’ve shared a handful of pipes I own here on the forum. Last week I randomly checked Paul’s website and he just put a pipe up for sale. No question about it, i was grabbing it. He shipped it a few days ago so I hope to have in the next week (I’m in IL, he’s in EU).

It’s one of the coolest pipes I’ve seen, a perfectly executed dark contrasted bent Apple…it’s not often that I’m blown away by anything… but Paul Lucas of paw pipes does it almost every time he posts something new. This is heavily blasted and contrast stained in black and tan. There’s plenty of ring grain on show… It’s not too long or too short, and at 48 grams, will be fine for clenching. It is made from Mimmo Italian briar with SEM ebonite limited edition Hammada and Tidelands ebonite banding. The stem is SEM limited edition Hammada ebonite with a Delrin tenon. The mortice has a brass reinforcing tube beneath the banding that runs into the briar of the shank. To me, the grain in the blast resembles and the stem resemble tiny ripples in the water of a calm ocean which give me a calming feeling examining the pics. Anyway, enjoy the pics… once I have it in hand I’ll let y’all know how she smokes:)
