Thanks. Yes, I’d like to find replacement acrylic stems that will accept a 6mm filter. Right now, the best I’ve been able to do is buy the danish bits that are a bit better. I’m one of those rare filter smokers.MM sells two types of pipes, filtered and non-filtered. With the filtered, it just means that a 6mm filter will fit in the shank and the stem goes around the filter. The filter is not in the stem as in other pipes. Forever stems do have stems that do this and fit the MM filtered cobs. If you are looking to replace with the original style stems ... try ebay, or google danish cobs stems, or just corncob replacement stems. I think they even have them on Amazon. But if you are looking for a stem wherein the filter fits in the stem I have never seem one. I looked for a long time for a replacement Peterson filtered stem and didn't find one either. You might have to send back and have MM put a new stem on it for you.
All that being said...the forever stem and 6mm filter in shank works well. Search filtered stem on their site.
Yep. Once I bought my Diplomat, which comes stock with the Danish bit, that became the only bit I use on my MM pipes. It actually holds a 6mm filter without having to jam it in there, plus it fits a rubber bit perfectly, unlike the stock stems on the Legend, CG, etc.Thanks. So am I. I have the Mark Twain and bought the long tortoise shell with a slight bend for it. I use the 6mm filters which slide into the shank. It works fine. That's about the best one can do without having one custom made I suppose. But I can't see doing that for a $12 pipe no matter how wonderful it is. As it is the forever stem was 3x the price but it does last foreverThanks. Yes, I’d like to find replacement acrylic stems that will accept a 6mm filter. Yeah. Too bad they don’t make one that fits a filter. I guess there isn’t enough demand. Maybe that’s also why M.M. doesn’t sell them.So am I. I bought an acrylic stemmed filtered MM pipe and just switch the stem to the filtered cob I’m smoking that day. One stem, Multiple pipes. May not be proper pipe etiquette and I know you can’t do it with other types of pipes but it works for me.Hey all, is anyone aware of filtered replacement stems for Missouri Meerschaums? Forever Stems don’t come in filtered. I reached out to M.M. But they don’t sell their acrylic stems separately. Any help would be appreciated.
Yeah. They fit the filtered models, but don’t accept a filter .I always assumed they had them for Filtered, because the website lists them. hmm

Thanks! I’ll check it out. I’d love to get a MM acrylic but pipe, but would cost me $45 with shipping. That’s $60 Canadian for a cob.I edited my last reply, look back at it on EMC.
