Sure Spartan! I started with some 400 grit sandpaper as mine had a few scratches. Then I went over it 0000 steel wool which will give it a fairly nice shine. Next I masked off the bowl where it joins the alum. and buffed it with White diamond. If you don't have a buffer Micro-mesh will put a nice shine on it as will Brasso and Nevr-Dul. Have to use care not to get the liquid from the Brasso and Nevr-Dul on the briar as it will stain it.
