All the negativity here is not about the New York Times. It's about how much harder it will be to get Esoterica if pipe smoking becomes a thing for younger folks in big cities. 😂

I'm going to be steering the "new trend" pipe smokers toward Smoker's Pride bulk shag burley as the the new "de rigueur" blend from here on out.

Relax, I got this.

Esoterica is safe, as is Gawith.

It’s most certainly not going to be the best big pop culture thing. May there be an in crease in pipe smoking? Sure. What I am noticing is a lot more cigar smokers are turning towards pipes. It’s not gen Z picking up a Grabow to look “cool”.

I understand that. The same thing is happening in EU.
I have one B&M in my hometown. It has six types of pipe tobacco and five low-budget pipes. That’s it. The next one is 100 miles away.
Lucky you !
There is not a single pipe shop in Sydney - supposedly the largest or most populous city in Oz.
The nearest city with shops selling pipes and pipe tobacco is Melbourne, Victoria 537 miles (875km) away

OK. Wow.
So, Dani (whoever she is) sells a light story of literally four sentences to a fairly large audience, in one way or another, promoting this hobby / lifestyle of ours.

Along with a few other nonsense, she puts a bit of Charles Dickens into the story, romanticizing pipe smoking through Victorian aesthetics.

And you dissect her work experience and try to undermine her credibility because... why exactly?

Is it the NYT?
Is it the fiction part? (looking at you, Sherlock)

Help me out here. :ROFLMAO:
I think it might be the NYT part. I’d guess about half of the country hates the paper.
