@guhrillastile, it seems that you have made many conversions from your craft, and the fact that some come back for commissioned pieces means that they at least have been 'hooked'.
Incidentally, I have never resented what I've paid for a pipe; some have been very expensive but most have cost little. A well-crafted pipe, properly looked after, should last for generations and certainly longer than my wine/port collection !! LOL
