A Tiny Pair....

Just finished out the second pipe this afternoon...The first one I posted a few weeks ago was inspired by a 1922 Dunhill- the shape was probably closest to a Belge. This one is definitely a Cutty- Used a Carbon Fiber tenon, SEM Cumberland, and a contrast stain. Came in at 6" long, 1.2" deep, and off the chart at 13 grams weight...It's always fun buffing one of these little ones on a 10" wheel...Time for a beer!(Sorry for the weird rotation of the pic- not sure why that started happening)

Thanks guys! The shank band is 30 year old ivory. The stain is a black base topped with orange topped with mahogany...and I smoke my mistakes- the good 'uns I put up for adoption ...

fishnbanjo got me into small pipes. I keep saying they are great for a short smoke, for sampling, and

for a appetizer or dessert around smoking a bigger pipe. Used to think small pipes were toys. That's

an elegant pair.
