However, I'm going to let a bowl dry overnight and give it a shot.
Overnight may be too much. which will deaden the favors. Cube cut or rub out and give it a couple of hours. It shouldn't be totally dry, just on the edge. Pack light and smoke extra slowly. The difference is very noticeable. If you smoke indoors you have an advantage as you're smelling the blend in the room when you inhale and the flavors come through in the air if not in the mouth. I only smoke outdoors, so I need to get that taste in the mouth and when I exhale through my nose. Can't count on being in an enclosed space.

Comparing FVF to either Stonehaven or RDF is like comparing apples to oranges. FVF is a completely different flavor profile: no burley, no treacle topping, less sweeter, stronger and earthier, and has a little more nicotine.
I know they are different. I have smoked Stonehaven, RDF and FVF. But I can't help it: when I opened the pouch of DRF, I wondered if I had been sent FVF in longer flakes in bulk.
Smoking it was not like, or close to Stonehaven but, again, more like FVF. I have no other explanation than what my nose and tastebuds have experienced....

i was shocked to see how available this stuff is in Europe. I've ordered 500g of the stuff from some English shop. Very curious to see how long it takes to receive it. I'm tres curious to smoke some!

You know, it wasn't all that long ago that you could call Greens of Leeds and order as much of this stuff as you wanted and pay with your credit card over the phone (late nineties, early 00's?). It was about 50 bucks, shipping included for 500g loose. Funny, that seemed like a lot at the time.

Yep, the world has changed. Complications with international credit card purchases, such as reimbursement for losses due to fraud, have made such transactions much more difficult. Many merchants won't touch a card. Taxes add a huge amount to the cost, I would guess 50%. 500GM will cost about $300 nowadays. I like the stuff, but would rather wait for Stonehaven or something else that I like as much. I have some RDF on hand for the occasional treat and to share. But I can think of much better ways to spend my hard earned money.

I get my oders delivered in Ontario within 7 - 10 business days. Which is faster than any order I place in the US.
