My uncle came to visit for a week from NOLA over Thanksgiving and during his visit he got a gander at my pipe collection. He told me that somewhere in his study, he had one of my grandfather's pipes and would I be interested in it. Would I? Well the pipe arrived today. My grandfather was my hero and to have his pipe and this connection to him is priceless. It is a Kaywoodie Supergrain 93B with intact stinger. I figure it is late 60s. Not a fancy or expensive sought after pipe but it means the world to me. I can't wait to clean it up. So here are the before pictures.
