Azahar (manzanilla) with an anchovy tasting
Pickled fennel

Mushroom risotto with 1985 Montevertine Le Pergole Torte
(a 100% Sangiovese "super-Tuscan")

Montgomery cheddar and Stichelton (an unpasteurised "Stilton". Not officially allowed to be called "Stilton" as Stiltons have to be made from pasteurised milk)
With a trio of ports - 1977 Taylor, 1985 Graham's and a 1920 Orlando Tawny
All 3 ports were in exceptional condition.
As were the cheese which were carried back from London last week in a friend's hand luggage

A Cohiba Esplendido with
2 desert island rums:
1952 Clement Rhum Agricole and
Pre-Castro Cuban rum (1946 Valdespino Family Reserve)

Still in great shape. The spirit has been tamed.
This was the best bottle in quite a while.
So much depends on the condition of the cork.

The 1920 Aussie tawny still had amazing fruit.
