I have quite sullen by the lack of Sillem's Commodore Flake on the market. I have not seen it or been notified about drops about a year, even though there was a a drop of Sillem's other blends about six months ago. I recently noticed that John Aylesbury released a flake called Commander's Flake with the same ingredients and similar tin art. I also took note that they came out with blends for each of Sillem's other offerings. Cup O'Joes describes Commander's Flake as "Formerly Sillem's Commodore Flake."

I need to pick up some tins to try, though I doubt there are any differences being that they are still from the same blender. Have anyone tried these new John Aylesbury blends yet?
