I just need to make a quick rant and get all of this off my chest. Thank you for your patience in advance.

I traveled from NYC to North Carolina, by bus no less, to help a friend move to Georgia. Well and good, the move was completed. She wanted me to stay for a while because she still had to work in NC for a couple more weeks or so. Okay, I figured a couple of weeks more out of the city in a rural area would be nice. Good change of pace. And it was. The pets did need looking after.
Then, she gets a transfer to Georgia and she decides to have a very nasty attitude with me. No clear reason why. All the while I was helping her clean and set up the new place and taking cafe of her pets, after helping with the move, and she just totally turned on me. Fine, no problem, I'll just go back home.
But, of course, it's not that easy. Always a problem for her to take me to the train station. It's over an hour away by car, way too far to walk, but soon I may have to start entertaining that idea. I really can't take this anymore and have to get out soon, whatever it takes. I'm really at wits end. Just a really bad situation for absolutely no reason.
Thanks for putting up with my rant. Just needed to let that out.

Have you considered asking your friend why she has taken a less friendly tone with you? She may be unaware she is being nasty with you—the stress of moving to Georgia and now actually working there may be upsetting her more than she realizes and is taking it out on you.

Cab really isn't going to work because I pretty much gave her all the money I had with me for expenses. As a last resort , maybe I can swing something like that.
I agree, it's definitely time to leave and I know I'm not going to get a straight answer, that's for sure. At this point, I don't even care, just want out.

always have back up cash when in a situation like that.
My guess is someone misread the relationship and it's not going how they wanted. But that's just a guess. I've seen both men and woman use a situation to get a friend alone and then when they find out they're just still friends even after a little time together suddenly the terminal immaturity comes out.

Vegas Baby!!!
That absolutely sucks. Hopefully she’ll come to her senses. It’s always unfortunate getting stuck because another human forgets how to human.

When I was 19, obviously many years ago, I helped a friend move from Las Vegas to Orlando.

I drove the U-Haul and she was supposed to get me a flight home for helping.

We did the three day drive, I unloaded the U-Haul and after taking the U-Haul back she tells me that she’s broke and she’s sorry but she doesn’t know how I can get back to Vegas.

I stayed with her two weeks while I odd jobbed enough to pay for my ticket home.

It was a valuable lesson.

I’m truthfully sorry, someone else is learning stuff like this.

A good deed rarely goes unpunished.

I had some cash but I felt bad being that she was feeding me and all so, stupid me, I figured it was only right to help out. I never really thought of the misreading angle, you may just have something there.

Wow, that sounds all too familiar. Thank you for sharing that. It's good to know I'm not the only one who has experienced this. It really does suck. Sorry you had to go through that. I can definitely relate.
I'm sure she'll give in at some point, but it needs to be soon. This is going on three months now. I liked the change of pace at first, but for the last almost two months the circumstances nullify that.
I have the train ticket covered, all I need is a definite date and a ride to the station, but it's like pulling teeth.
The saddest part is that I know better. Or at least I should. I figured I know her for thirty years and have never had as much as a disagreement with her, so what could go wrong? Boy did I find out! Indeed, a good deed does rarely go unpunished.
