A Pre-1900 CPF - Salesman Sample?

Just received my eBay score of what I think maybe a salesman sample. Its only 3 1/2' long!

As obtained and after a quick clean to examine.

Interesting pipe. C.P.F. was bought by Kaywoodie in 1883 so you have a real relic here. Well done.

Beauty...I have a big C.P.F. Churchwarden that takes my thumb, the button is hard to get used to, so it doesn't see much action, good conversation piece though. Your little pipe is quite nice and looks like a good smoker, congrats!
