I am unsure whether your goal is a short smoke or a small footprint. The Tsuge is a great choice! For size, I have a Parker Foursquare that leaves a small footprint and doesn't poke out the pockets too much. For a short smoke, I have a Peterson Kildare with a small, narrow bowl.

The Tsuge was $62 before S&H. If i remember correctly, it was a 50% ish saving over the original price.

This pipe is one of my favorites: Stanwell Sterling Series Billiard.
I usually go for longer pipes, but this one smokes so well, I find myself smoking it in the house and on the road. It's just a bit of 5" and is one of my best smokers. It cost $115 and worth every penny.

iwanries.com has house pipes (Iwan Ries Exclusives) that include compacts, a bent billiard that is a

great smoker and takes a pipe cleaner to the bowl. It is super compact, light, and can go quite a while

for its size. Also, Parker by Dunhill available at Cup O Joes, among other places, has some nice small

pipes. Also, Big Ben, the Dutch pipe maker, makes a handsomely designed pocket pipe. It's obvious

to say, but remember that a pocket pipe's advantage is portability. If all you want is a short smoke, just

load the bowl of any pipe part way, and you can get whatever length smoke you need up to the capacity

of that pipe. Sounds silly to say, except most people just habitually fill up the bowl.
