With just a single shot .25 caliber for defensive purposes you would do just about as much good if you just threw it at the perp.

It sounds like it's not just a single shot, with a magazine in the "bowl." Granted, .25 cal isn't fire power.

Looks like an accident waiting to happen to the nearsighted and those with a preoccupied mind. Did

he kill himself or was he still dazed by that centerfold?

My mistake then; I'm confused why the "stem unscrews for loading". I don't see how it could be magazine fed. I thought the bowl carried 5 extra bullets that you hand load as needed into the barrel. I recall those single shot canes were much the same way. All you will accomplish in shooting a perp with a .25 caliber is make him mad.
