A pipe I restored for a friend of mine

Thought I would share these pics of a pipe I just restored for a friend of mine

Just for information, the following was done to this pipe;

Bowl reamed

Bowl was salt treated twice

Stem and shank were scrubbed and sterilized

Pipe received 2 retort treatments

Char and tar marks removed from top of bowl

Teeth marks minimized

Three step buffing process to bowl and stem

Carnauba wax applied to all wood

Obsidian Black applied to stem.

Thank you all. Yes, it is a LHS. I have been cleaning, restoring, repairing pipes as a hobby for quite some time. I'm actually thinking about hanging out a shingle and seeing if I get any takers.

Okiescout, that pipe actually came in a large box of estate pipes I got for $20 abut 8 months ago. I am just working my way through the pipes now.
