When we go hiking when it's that hot I wear long sleeve shirts. We have single digit humidity at those temps and it's not the heat that's an issue it's the direct sunlight. You do have to be careful touching metal and things like that when they get left in the sunlight too.

It does make a difference. Plus when its real cold and your breath freezes on it it makes you look very old and distinguished!

Humidity at those temps here goes from 75% up to 90% depending on precipitation. I'm often one of only a handful of people working on those days.

Put a 18 inches over my woodstove in january. It’ll be both dry and stoved in 10 minutes. Its what i do with my wool socks after rabbit hunts. Makes the house smell like foot cheese and wet farm animals.

I gravity fill so no crumbling. I do put White Elephant snuff atop a pack occasionally though. I do rub my tobacco down to near nothing though. This is still too long for me to smoke.
