A PAD I commissioned earlier this year

Saw this really superbly done briar pipe with bamboo shank and Buddha bamboo insert to the bowl done by ST Kuo. This one is different than the original one I saw but it's all mine done as a commission.

Not really into the whole bamboo thing myself but the quality of workmanship on that functional work of art is undeniable. I'm truly amazed at how the Bamboo and the Briar fit so seamlessly together; it's as if they were cut from the same block of wood. A real beauty!

Having just joined the bamboo legions myself, with a Bob Hayes rusticated Dublin, I really admire the bamboo work on the bowl, not to mention what looks like a high capacity chamber, very nice.
