Howdy all, I’m the new guy. Smoked my first pipe in November and never looked back. Back at what? Not sure. Didn’t come from cigarettes or anything. I’ve been fortunate to acquire a Castello, a couple Radice Aeros, a Neerup, Peterson, and a Ropp. I’ve also realized that I have a bit of a problem and have acquired about 65 tins/bags since November. I only smoke about 1-2 bowls a day, so at my calculation it’s enough baccy for several years. I’m a blown glass and metal 3-D artist (hence the glassman) working in the greater Phoenix area, and I love pipes. Current favorite smoke is Esoterica Brighton and Dorchester. Also really liking Warped Cloud Hopper. Did I do my introduction right?

Welcome from just down the road in Tucson! If you haven't found it yet, Ye Olde Tobacco Shoppe on 24th St. in Phoenix is an excellent B & M. It's a required stop for me every time I drive through your fair city.

Welcome from the very temperate state of Washington. I have an aunt who lives in Phoenix. Too hot for me, brother. I spent a fair amount of time at Ft Huachuca to the east of you, but that is darn near a mile high and only damn hot, not Oh hell no hot.

You will learn a ton here, so don't be afraid to ask questions about anything you are wondering about.

Hell yeah, you did it right ?
Welcome from Louisiana. I have a friend that does some glass. There are quite a few other artists and craftsmen here on the forums.

Welcome from Illinois. My daughter lived in Phoenix for about 5 years. I've been there a few times. Always enjoyed myself even though it was so damn hot.

That’s where I got my first basket pipe and tin of Presbyterian mixture. Great shop. They have a Thursday pipe night, but due to Covid and having a newborn, I haven’t been since probably February. Thanks for the “oh hell no” warm welcome everybody.

Greetings from Vaughan, ON! Welcome on board!
I started smoking pipe around the same time like yourself, but I haven't managed to acquire so many pipes and tobaccos. Good for you on such a fast start of the pipe smoking journey! :)

I think we actually met there one Thursday evening. I recall your line of work conversation. I’ve purchased some tins when I can get down there, I like them and try to support local business. Stag at Pinnacle Peak & Scottsdale is much closer to me, but not as much pipe stuff. Hope to see you again down there. When this strange era is but a memory

I'm also a fan of the Warped blends. Been smoking Cloudhopper a lot lately. Some of the others are even better (if you can get your hands on any).

Were you there for the Cornell and Diehl blending event? Do you have a moist ache? And by moist ache I clearly meant to type mustache. If so, I remember you. Cheers

That’s like congratulating somebody on having a disease LOL. My initiation consisted of a running start and a hole in my pocket.
