In this day and age there is really no reason to ask questions about a cob. Just buy one and try it.

There is little middle ground when it comes to cobs.
People love them or hate them, it is pretty cheap to see where you fit on that scale.

As a side note, if you think something different may help with your mood, a cob is a lot cheaper than a corvette.
Or a girlfriend if you are married (or if you're not for that matter).
