Dear PipesMag users,
As many of you know, Dave Neeb of Mkelaw Pipes is retiring from estates selling and we were humbled by his suggestion that MBSD take over regarding his existing stock and consignments. After many conversations with Dave and his consignors, it has been agreed that MBSD shall do so. We were also very happy that Dave agreed to let to us stock some of his own handmade pipes, given how appreciated these pipes are by the users of this forum and by many others beyond it. We’ve added the first two of Dave’s own pipes today, which can be found at the following link: NEEB HANDMADE – MBSDpipes.com - https://www.mbsdpipes.com/product-category/mbsd-vendors/neeb-handmade/
We’ll also put up a post in the market specifically for Dave’s pipes.
We also would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all those who sent well wishes to us following Dave’s announcement of his retirement, and to Dave for his kind words about us in that announcement.
Currently, we are in the process of receiving and cataloging the estate pipes from Dave and the Mkelaw Pipes website, which will take some time. Dave's estates that have already been processed can be found here:
Many more are on the way. In the meantime, we have been thinking about how best to approach Mkelaw’s great relationship with the Pipesmagazine Forums. Obviously, there is no replacing Dave’s presence, especially on the pipe marketplace here, but we would nonetheless like to continue some of the work Dave has been doing. We have no intention of spamming the forums, but we were thinking of doing something like periodic offers or first looks on certain pipes, just for Pipesmag members. For the time being, we’ve added a special Pipesmag discount code for the website, ‘NEEB’.
Sending our very best regards,
Mitchell & Sarah Ingram, MBSD Pipes.
