Well, I know it's too local for y'all to know. But she's a very familiar face to me, specially from back in 80/90s. God bless her, and hope she rests in peace.

Death seems to be going around lately.
The New Orleans area has lost two recently: Eric Paulsen who has been with WWL-TV since 1977 and rose through the ranks to become one of the news anchors. He died one month after receiving a cancer diagnoses.

The other was long time New Orleans Sports Reporter Ed Daniels. He died after a massive heart attack while covering the Saints training camp in California.
