A Little Something To Make The Pipe Life Easier.

I was out with the misses at the antique and flea markets this weekend and saw a few of these for sale. They’re a great way to store and access pipe cleaners. Not sure if they’re soda fountain straw holders or comb disinfectant jars or both. Cheers.

I like that! Currently the pipe cleaners are in a half size coffee tin, but the only counter space available is too close to the buffer. Wonder if the wife would mind if I did some remodel in the basement again... instead of her kitchen...

I like that! Looks vintage and classy. I think it's an old barbershop comb disinfectant jar. I use a little tree I carved.

Don't get me wrong, decades ago I was all about the trappings. Other than artisan commissions, I'm more utilitarian now. I do like kooky pipe stands though.

As for the pipe cleaner holder, it looks a lot like the old straw dispenser we had at my old work.

A junk store find I use in the shop made from an old PO Box door. There are lots of interesting containers out there if you use some imagination.

I just slide the plastic bag they come in between the clutter on my pipe shelf, and slide them out one at a time. It is the least space consuming I can do. But I like the re-purposed straw or comb jar.
