In my opinion the moisture from a tin of Capstan Blue Flake is the perfect humidity for a flake or any other cut. I can take one flake, fold and stuff it in the appropriate pipe and it burns perfectly. I like my flakes to have a bit of moisture, too dry and I get a fast flavorless bowl. I always check the draw before lighting. I am looking for a bit of resistance before lighting. I give it a good char then the true light and I am good to go.
