A Little Beyond a Gurgling

So I just got a Bjarne churchwarden tonight, and during it's first smoke liquid started to seep out from where the stem connects to the shank. Has this happened to anybody else here?

Hmm I had this happen on a pipe before and come to find out it was just the stain bleeding out from the shank. Try a good salt/alcohol treatment on it!
