The poet in his lone yet genial hour

Gives to his eyes a magnifying power:

Or rather he emancipates his eyes

From the black shapeless accidents of size--

In unctuous cones of kindling coal,

Or smoke upwreathing from the pipe's trim bole,

His gifted ken can see

Phantoms of sublimity.

- Samuel Taylor Coleridge

I shall soon take the full Lakeland tour, beginning with GH&Co because I prefer their burley. I do prefer the soapy over the floral though, but one never knows until one smokes what shall enrapt thine soul! :D
Wordsworth was also a Lake Poet,

this poem covers the floral aspect of the Lakeland essences:

Hehe  - I was being a little unfair on Lakelands. I do quite like the "soapy" or creamy texture. It's not something I would smoke all the time, but it does suit a summer evening IMO.

Nice to see the full tin front for a change - they usually have a huge health warning sticker over the lower third of the tin here. It really spoils some nice artwork.
Here's what it looks like with the warning -

Thanks for the info misterlowercase. It is a lovely tin for a collection, but I'd have to get 2 so I could keep one and smoke one. Although, I worry that I'll like a limited edition too much and be sad when it's all gone. I've a tin of Jubilee 2012 that I'm going to save for a good while yet.
That does sound a lot of money Rothnh. The first time it's been cheaper to live in England! It's around $34 a tin here. I may have to get some next pay day.
EDIT - reading through the wiki link, it seems he painted S. Gawith because he was the Mayor of Kendal.
