I'm smoking some 2012 FVF, bought fresh at online "retail" and jarred. Buy faster than you can smoke it and one day you'll be smoking some vintage blends without being as rich at Croesus.

And if you are as rich as Croesus, buy whatever the hell you want for whatever it is worth to you.

But, even if I was rich as Croesus I wouldn't be paying 20 times retail for a tine of "whatsis".

Yes! If you would really like to frustrate others with maximum effect, then pay as a high a price as possible, and be sure to never actually drink any of it.

That’s almost, but not quite, as frustrating as the people who buy it at ‘normal’ prices with zero intention of ever drinking it. They buy it just to resell it for 4x the cost.

Good on them, but it’d be nice for some of the stuff to stick around on a shelf long enough for the local population to buy it and actually drink it.

The most I paid for "vintage" or aged pipe tobacco was the regular gouging prices of Canada but most of my stuff is slowly aging and I paid much much less for it. I have tins that are 40 to three years old. Same for my cigars, my Cuban and European travels took care of that as well, no way I' m paying 30-90 dollars for a Cuban stick.
