I saw that one too and was going to bid but I wasn't sure I'd be able to repair the button. (I don't like the rubber guards).

Interesting ! The darker gold paint around the ring looks just a touch uneven, making me think someone may have just grabbed a brush and some gold paint and went at it.

Hmm, that shape number threw me off (I'm a GBD-phile). I've never seen a 9458 The 9438 is an iconic GBD shape and one of the most popular in estates and that looks very similar with a short stem transition. I like the French shape nuances, like that one. Show a shot of other side, I'd like to see the grade stamp.

Al I"ll swear that's a 9438 looking at the stamp the 3 is easily mistaken for a 5, that's my story and I"m sticking to it.0

One can almost hear Connery saying...."Goldfinger. Do you expect me to talk?" followed by the response "No. I expect you to smoke". Worse still would be Goldfinger pointing out that he has an industrial laser that can project a spot on a bowl of Three Nuns and light it evenly!

It has some more pictures, the stem needs re done, or I need to get a new acrylic somewhere. I probably miss read the number.

That is a 9438, nice price!
I bet that Gold paint could be stripped off. That might be worth having someone make a new stem for it.
