Perhaps goes without saying - but the classic rustic look of the 8-5-8 is something else. These ain’t no perfectly smooth Davidoffs.

The 858 maduro is one of my favorite maduro cigars. I prefer my maduros on the light-medium side in terms of body, and with plenty of, well, ripe (maduro) sweetness. The 858 nails the flavor profile, and it's a delightful corona gorda size. I smoked through quite a few Fuente Anejos before realizing I like the regular core line maduros more, at half the price.

I have smoked enough cigars to know there is a vast world of flavors out there, with a huge range in quality and price. I have also discovered that I am perfectly happy sticking with Fuente exclusively for my occasional cigar. In particular, Hemingway Short Story or Best Seller never disappoint, and provide the pleasant shorter smokes that I prefer.
