Steve -- unfortunately I won't be able to smoke it for a few days. Finals and work is leaving me almost no time to break this in, its kind of a deep bowl. It'll easily be an hour+ smoke; for me anyways haha.
It's kind of killing me a little inside every time I look at it  But the draw is absolutely exquisite.

That is a very nice looking pipe, I hope it smokes great for you. Congrats on your new pipe and I think you should drop everything, i.e work, finals anything that would get in the way of you smoking a new pipe. Nothing is more important than smoking a new pipe, hell even if you were expecting a child the pipe should always come first.

Chris -- the chamber diameter is 7/8"
cigrmaster -- I know right?? Haha. I've got another pipe, a Peterson Rosslare, that I have yet to smoke. I am still trying to find the right tobacco to break it with.

I really like that second cream colored stem. I think it's contrast the dark stain and rustication finish nicely.
Enjoy!

Motet to ages his brair 15 yrs after receiving it, they are extremely good smokers, all hand made, one of the best , he believes in small diameter bowls, I sent a very large Moretti Canadian to Norwoods to rebore and like the pipe better. You will be happy smoking it, good choice.

An excellent Christmas gift. I hope you enjoy it for many years. Good luck on your tests and enjoy the break when they are finished.
