I have a question I hope someone can help me with. The wife and I have been seeing a cat hanging around our house lately. See photos of said cat below. It is a nice looking cat, rather large, but a bit aloof. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can get it to warm up to us?

Sorry for the poor quality photos. The cat is a bit shy so we have to be stealthy when photographing it. Here it is on our back yard wall.

This reminds me of the memes that pop up online.

A couple years ago I was sitting in the Wegmans parking lot when this walked by. I've worked with enough coyotes to know one when I see it.

And finally, I don't break the law often, but when I do, it's usually for animals.
About 10 years ago I was out on our property, near the property line that boarders state lands. I heard a god awful screaming coming from about 100 yards onto the state land.
I found a bobcat in a toe hold trap. It was 100% legal. The trap was labeled and set properly. But, I couldn't walk away. So, I set the nasty little bastard free. :)
I'm a hunter, and I know what I did was illegal, but I really didn't care.

Illegal and wrong aren't always the same thing. Legal isn't always right either.

Yep, at the time the fur was worth about $60, and I doubt the trapper was going to eat it.
I'm all for subsistence hunting, and even trophy hunting if the hunter eats the meat.
But killing animals solely for profit, isn't my thing, and I can't sit back and observe it either. But that's just me.

I used to hunt a lot when I had both of my legs. Mainly spear hunting boar in europe.
