Thanks! There are many 904s that I let slide by, especially the new ones due to the acrylic stems. The fifty+ year old 9004s get a laser focus and barring any major damage, I go all out to acquire them.
Those are beauties, well done! I saw them last weekend and was tempted to bid on the blast, but I knew there's no point going after a 9004. Enjoy!
Whatever do you mean? It's not like I'm an aggressive bidder when it comes to those.
Something I found interesting is that the sandblasted one had twice as many bidders as the smooth one and went for a much larger final bid. The blasted one is my favorite, but I thought the final outcome would have been just the opposite.
I'd bet that when Steve posted them up for sale he had you in mind.
