As a former active duty Devil Dog I am sorry that,
A. You had to endure this while overseas. Being away always magnifies the negativity of bad things.

B. That so many of brethren are up your ass. Unless in a combat situation I never wanted to know where Doc was or to bother him. In the Phillipines he was always performing miracle work on those that ignored condoms, and I didn't need to be near that

C. Hang in there Doc, and thanks for doing what you do.

@fnord -Haha! Uncle Sam's Misguided children is right. All these kids wanna do is kill! But I love them like brothers. Being a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman I think, is one of the most unique cross branch opportunities that the military has to offer. They view us more as Marines than sailors. It really is the closest friendship in the military. Like we Devil Squids say... "Tougher than a sailor, Smarter than a Marine".
@mso489- Old salt dog huh? Hooyah! Corps school moved from San Diego to Great Lakes, Illinois. I want to say that was some time in the 90's. I graduated from Great Lakes in 2010 and a year later that school closed and relocated to Fort Sam Houston, Texas where Corpsman are now being inter-trained among soldiers and airmen. The Corpsman rate has never been the same since...
