I see that some of the classic OTC blends are now in 7 oz cans instead of 12 oz. I like the change for international shipping reasons and because I don't need 12 oz of Granger before I know if I like it or not lol. I'll be ordering a 7 oz can today to try. I'll likely stick with pouches for Half and Half though.

What are your thoughts?

Without knowing the specifics of this blend, I'd guess that this is a way of lowering the price of the tub/tin while increasing the cost per ounce. This has gotten to be standard with food products, the 12 oz. package of bacon and so forth. So you're paying more per ounce, but you spend a little less from your budget.

I just received two 7 oz cans of Sir Walter Raleigh Aro and one was popped open in the box. The second can popped open with only the pressure of my hand gripping it to pull it out of the shipping box. Someone mentioned in another thread that this was a problem. The foil seal on the top of the 7oz cans is worthless! The can itself will deform with any pressure at all and pop the foil seal.
