I can't seem to find MacBaren Blue nor Bright tins of their 7 Seas line. Only

  • Red (cherry)
  • Royal
  • Regular
  • Gold
  • Black
Missing:

  • Blue (it's light blue)
  • Bright (sort of yellow)
So I went to Pipes & Cigars and ordered their 7-Seas Sample tin pack, but it only has FIVE seas! Dug around online and can only find (at most) some of the 5 listed above.. Being a "completist", I really have to find those other 2 seas, Blue and Bright. Can anyone point the way?

love the two available ones I have tried. Those two hard to get ones sound great. And I love that they prove to me that Captain black would be really good to me if I didn't react to the high level of PG (tastes chemically) in lower amounts it goes straight to the back of the flavor line.

I hear you loud and clear, Mike. For the past year plus, I was inexplicably obsessed with acquiring at least one tin of each Drew Estate blend (they put out eight total). Once I finally achieved this feat, I could turn my attention back to the three dozen samples I have on hand, and go to town on them. That was my latest brush with the completism you speak of.

What Embers has forgotten about pipes and tobacco, most of us will never know. So the above is your answer, which is a bummer. Maybe you could make a friend overseas who'd be willing to snag one of each for you. Depends on how severe your completist tendencies are, I guess.

Regarding the 7 seas line itself, I've got the Black and the Gold, but haven't tried either yet. Based on the flavor profiles, reviews etc., I'm sure I'll like them plenty.
