Not to boast but to thank Kevin for this wonderful place, the moderators for their insightful guidance and, finally, the members of this forum for sharing their experiences and deep knowledge of our hobby.

I've been smoking a pipe since I was 18 in 1970 and have learned more about this hobby in the 3 years on this site than the previous 40.

The camaraderie and general feeling of bon homme makes all welcome and part of a generous community.

Again, thanks to all and to all a great day of piping.

This site literally invites participation because it's so diverse. I'm still on the low end of the learning curve after 40 years and I'm always excited to see what the daily topics are. The only thing I've really got down is cleaning jars, and ordering.
