Well it was a fairly simple TAD. Considering I live in Canada, I try and keep it to a certain weight.
I ordered 6 tins of Samuel Gawith BBF. I got 5.
As well as one of these. I assume Rich only had 5, or I got a mispick (unlikely), or he has a great sense of humour

I take it I just slice some pepperoni slices off and dry it? The paper inside is very stained, does this reflect age? It's very wet, so prob not.
Thanks for the awesome surprise Rich.....

I use a cigar cutter. I like the Gawith Hoggarth Cherry twist, when I can keep it lit.

Cigar cutter, yes. Prepare however you see fit, you can rub it out or leave it as a coin and stuff it which will deliver more flavor but it'll need dried some to keep it burning. It will ghost your briar so take that into consideration when choosing a pipe. I like a smaller bowl and I'm inclined to rub out twist tobacco on the rare occasions that I smoke it. We are fortunate were I live that it's available in bulk so when I get inclined to partake, I can buy a small hunk and take it home, prep and jar it.

I packed a basic cob....nice and loose, no filter. Took a bit to get lit. It required constant attention obviously. 3 relights, smoked to ash no problems.
Man, this stuff is strooooong. I thought nightcap was a nic hit. Whew.
Drying the rest out for my morning coffee.
What, if there is, the oriental leaf in this?

I believe its all VA.
It ages well. I picked up a five year old tin and the rope was glistening with sugar crystals. Good stuff but I can only smoke it in small bowls. Small bowls that take a few days to finish.

Im sorry, but i think you should see a doctor...:)
No seriously thou that doesn't look at all appealing but so long as it smells and tastes good i dont see any issues. Im just not use to seeing twists that are babypoo green.

Just toss it into your food processor and pulse until you get the size pieces you want.

Classic Canadian stereotype warren, get a wrong order, still thankful.... ;) Honestly it was probably mixed in there as the tins look pretty similar, Rich is awesome at customer service, he'd probably throw in a tin of BBF the next order free of charge to make up for it. He threw in free pipe cleaners for me last order and I asked him to send me the bill for it as it was 3 packs of bristled and a 100 pack of tapered, but he just threw them in free of charge. I know as a fellow Canuck though you probably don't care and it's a fun surprise.
