A good smooth Dunhill. It beats a meerschaum. The Bruyere, their original finish, is the best tasting (except the Root, which is rare & over $400).

Castello Sea Rock. Better yet get Castello Sea Rock Estate and spend another $150 on tobacco!

A Paolo Becker, you'll have to add 32 bucks for this one

Or keep your eyes open for an estate Paolo Becker in the 250-300 range, and some baccy ...

zonomo, if you could tell me what size pipe you like and what types of shapes, I could give you suggestions based on your likes.

First, congrats! Lots of pipes to choose from in that price range - give us a hint of what you like.
You could go for a brand new, top-of-the-line pipe. Or get two fine Dunhill estates (if you shop carefully).

zonomo,

I would suggest BobHayesPipes.com (the late Craig Tarler's son-in-law of Cornell and Diehl). Bob Hayes is my choice and his pipes are excellent smokers. I now own 16 Hayes pipes and love them all. They are truly excellent in every repect and the prices are most reasonable for Artisan pipes. The prices range from $200 to $350. And, he stands behind every pipe he creates. No middle-man! You will love his pipes. My goal is to own 36 Hayes pipes.

SAVE IT UNTIL APRIL! Buy a Dunhill pipe from P&C during the month of April and you will get TWENTY (20) 1.5oz tins of Hearth and Home for FREE. There's no such thing as ever having enough tobacco!

I may just wait so I can get the 20 tins. Maybe I should save some $$ between now and then so I can get a really nice Dunhill w the baccy.

@ Captain: Those bob hayes are really beautiful.
@Everyone else: I've clicked through a lot of these links and there are some very spectacular pipes. I think I wont rush but try to find something special. I went to P&C but didnt see anything about free tins.
