While we were visiting family in Arizona for Thanksgiving, my brother offered to make a case for my Sav 311 on his 3d printer. The shape of the 311 is fairly straight forward so getting the dimensions and fit weren't too much of a challenge. We were able to capture a couple of rare earth magnets in each half to hold it together. I finished the exterior with about seven coats of spray on Plasti-Dip which gives it a really nice feel. Once we got home I raided the wife's fabric bin for the liner. This purple velour seemed most fitting from what options were available.
Anyways, thought I'd share it with you. There are a few things I'd change if I had it to do over, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
