It seems to have produced fine results!

Next, do try sandblasting! That would be, er, ah, a blast! Lots of fun.

I’d absolutely love to but don’t have a sand blaster unfortunately. My woodwork/leatherwork ‘shop’ is a 12x6’ room... oh, and there’s a table saw at the top of the cellar stairs. Don’t know if that counts. ?

It’d definitely be useful - I restore old tools too and scrubbing them in a bag of vinegar isn’t the nicest of jobs.

I end up smelling like I’ve been fondling all the change at a fish and chip shop...
