That guy has patience. I think his heart skipped a beat when the guy was giving him tips about soaking vulcanite in bleach. Zen.

That's a gem!
The club member that talked alot was quite knowledgeable. Especially in 1995. But I am a bit perplexed on why, if he had a buffing wheel setup, he'd need to soak his oxidized stems in bleach. I am guessing it's because he felt the bleach penetrated it more so it stayed blacker longer? We are talking vulcanite so there is a big difference from today's German ebonite.

I just got the most recent NASPC Newsletter and there is a picture of Jess shown. Is he in ill health? I know taking care of his wife took a toll on him, but he is looking frail! Much different than how he looked in the video, even considering it's been 20 years.
