Looks like the ‘25 St. Nicholas pipes are out. I like this year’s color design. I will be picking one up this year like always.

As per tradition, with the approach of Christmas we present the St. Nicholas pipe, this year featuring a black rusticated finishing. The design is embellished with a red acrylic band and a thinner aluminum ring. Green acrylic stem with a silver-colored ring that perfectly matches the pipe. The series is available in 15 different models. Light, easy to clean and smoke, it is a model for everyone.”

^^^ Ha, yea. Always liked Savinelli, and in 2013 we saw the inaugural St. Nicholas edition at a local tobacconist around the holidays. My wife later went back and purchased it for me for Christmas. Never intended to get one every year, but as you said, it became a fun tradition.

I have switched it up, but kinda favored bent billiards recently. Here are a few pics of my collection that I posted last year:

Few of us have a pipe collection; most of us have a pipe assortment (aka, herd ... or horde).

This is a pipe collection and it's perhaps the most fetching that I've seen. These are pipes that are meant to be had and displayed together. The collection is more than the sum of its parts. The beauty of the whole is not just of a greater amount, but even of a different kind than the beauty of any one of its members.

Together, these stems look like so much ribbon candy:

Very ugly

No no, this isn't civilized company in which we have to couch things politely -- we're family! Let your hair down and say what you really think! I can tell that you're sugar coating this for our sake. You always do this, Peter Turbo -- loosen up! If there's one thing that we could do with less of around here it's giving a crap about how we come off to others.

I don't think Savinelli are releasing these early enough. They're not giving people enough time to purchase before Christmas. Not cool.
Makes me mad too. Like they want to make sure we don't really have time to contemplate if we want and like the pipe. Real impulse buy type situation. I think I might protest by buying a few.
